HIGH QUALITY ENCODING
Multiple file formats — The Helix Mobile Producer supports a variety of file formats. Supported file formats include RealAudio, RealVideo, 3GPP Rel 5, and 3GPP2 Rel 6 and 3GPP2 (wireless industry standards).
Multiple encoding formats — The Helix Mobile Producer supports a variety of video and audio encoding formats. For video, it supports RealVideo, MPEG-4, H.263 and H.264 formats. For audio, it supports RealAudio, AAC, AACPlus, Enhanced AACPlus, AMR (NB and WB), QCELP and MP3 formats.
Variable bit rate encoding — This feature enables the video codec to vary the bit rate throughout the clip, depending on the type of content being encoded (high action scenes, low action scenes etc.). This allows for more consistent quality of video encoding for downloadable content, while keeping download times as short as possible.
Video Scaling — For 3GPP, 3GPP2, and RealVideo output formats, imported video files can be scaled to standard resolutions from SQCIF (128 x 96) up to CIF (352 x 288). Helix Mobile Producer Professional can also encode RealVideo at up to VGA (640x480).
Prefiltering — Cropping, frame rate conversion, inverse telecine, deinterlacing, noise filtering, brightness, contrast, and gamma adjustments all combine to allow you to create even better quality video.
